1998 - Graduated from Kentucky horseshoeing school first in the class. After school l worked part-time shoeing horses, and had a full time job working construction.

I was an apprentice for Gale Calloway for three years. Gale worked for many of the NRHA's top trainers including two time NRHA futurity champion Mike Flarida and NRHA world champion Sam Smith. Gale has over 25 years of experience shoeing reining and pleasure horses. Gale was also the official farrier for the NRHA derby/futurity and congress.

2002 - I started working for myself. I specialize in Reining horses, but shoe all types of disciplines, including hunter jumpers, dressage, and western and English performance horses.

2004 - I became AFA certified. I have shod and maintained many NRHA world champions, congress champions and derby/futurity winners. Currently I am the official farrier for the MRHA. In 2004 I was introduced to CJF Bobby Menker. Bobby has 25 years experience shoeing high level performance horses of all disciplines. He is an AFA tester and a well known clinician. Bobby has helped me to become a better all around farrier by improving my forging and farrier skills.

2011 - I passed the written portion of the CJF certification and will now be focusing on the practical portions.
